Bluewind Energy Center
The Bluewind Energy Center is a proposed 240 megawatt / 2 megawatt-hour energy storage project that will interconnect to an existing transmission line 138kV Oaks Substation. At peak output, this project will discharge the electricity necessary to power roughly ~100,000 homes for a 2-hour period.
The project will be sited on approximately 15 acres in Atascosa County, Texas.
